What used to be a charming little village has now been taken over by wealthy tourists and classy shops. Nice to walk through but there are definitely prettier places in Cornwall.

We returned to Padstow recently and stayed about ten minutes walk from the Harbour. It's a lovely place, always busy, loads of restaurants, shops and pubs. Plenty of places to sit and a beautiful view over the harbour and river. We'll definitely go back again.

This was a rare sunny October Thursday so by midday Padstow was quite busy all around the main attraction, the water. It is still very picturesque, there are numerous shops and restaurants. The tourist centre is located on the opposite end along the pier.

Lovely atmosphere to saunter around the harbour front. Usual tourist, expensive cafes, but supported by some artisan shops. Lovely boats berthed to add to the charm. Not big, so can easily be achieved.
