Padstow in August is busy to say the least but still delightful. Rick Stein has more than one niche here and the fish is good. Boat rides galore and there’s a ferry over to Rock where you can then do a walk round to Polzeath....More

A very beautiful little harbour town with lots of little shops and places to eat & drink. Nice to wander round for a couple of hours & have lunch or a snack. You can go across the ferry to Rock for £4 per adult return....More
