As we were staying in the Gairloch hotel, we took a stroll around the village. We passed the Farm shop, Bistro, Chinese & the spar shop. We found the Heritage museum, paid & went in. It is compact to say the least, but none the...More

Other reviewers seemed to rate this place highly. It looks pretty low budget, but as you look around and see the local history brought to life, you can't help getting drawn in. There is loads here to fascinate the curious traveller.

We are glad you appreciated the croft booklets. Our volunteers put a lot of work into collecting all that information! Thanks you for your kind review.

Another wet day activity in Gairloch! This small, yet well set out museum gives a fascinating look into life in the local area especially over the past couple of hundred years

Tiny little museum but we were greeted warmly and were left to have a leisurely browse around, we had a two year old and there was a few things to keep them amused. It's worth a walk around to kill half an hour or so.
