Heading says it all. Always windy but huge sandy beach. Can walk for miles. Lots of great cafes and hotels close by for bar lunches. Obviously most people visit Gullane to play golf but beach is marvellous.

Loved two brilliant walks on the beach- walk along to the end of the beach and along the dunes path and then come back through the woods. Our dog loved it as did we.

Such a lovely cove and almost deserted, we saw sanderlings feeding in their quirky way, chasing the waves in and out.

Not many others were on the beach. You could easily spend hours going from one end to the next. Walked to it, so cannot comment about car parking.

The toilets are on the left hand side of the car park. 2 min walk from the beach. Very clean, with toilet paper etc. The car park cost £2 per day which I think pays off thinking about the recycling bins, clean toilets etc.
Can you park a motorhome at the beach

Unsure plenty of parking space but there is a barrier. The nearby seton sands or cockenzie are better suited for this.
