Great spot to take in the views and enjoy a walk. This is a spectacular spot. It is picturesque and not over crowded. A bonus is you can also take a walk up the surrounding hills / mountain with the greatest of ease, starting right on the sea shore! Well worth a day's visit... or longer!

What a beautiful isle with Caribbean like beaches. We were crazy and went in the water, in April! My feet were numb for half an hour after. Highway workers saw us as we came out and laughed at the crazy Canadians. A must see if you are lucky enough to be in that area of Scotland. Worth the ferry ride.... More

The pictures we saw of Luskentyre Beach prior to our trip didn't do it justice. More beautiful than any we've seen. Just as beautiful along the route driving around to Temple Cafe.

The gold standard against which all others are measured. A stunning beach on a stunning island off a stunning coast.

good place to blow away the cobwebs... we found parking a little awkward, but we may have just been in the wrong part as it is so big. the vista is brilliant and would be a good kite flying beach.

This beach is straight out of a fairy tale. Miles of soft white sand, turquoise water, dramatic scenery and mountains all around and never crowded. One of my favourite places on earth!

I was absolutely blown away by the beaches in Luskentyre. I love travelling around Scotland and when my boyfriend's family said I needed to see what Luskentyre was like, they were not wrong. We drove over a hill and then all you see is the beautiful deep blue and turquoise colours of the sea, the wide open beach and the... More

This beach is probably the largest beach I have ever been to. You will see countless photographs and paintings of it all over Harris and for very good reason. We went and were unfortunate to be rained on but still had a fantastic time. White sand as far as the eye can see and while we were there it was... More
