You absolutely have to stop there but make sure that you exit your vehicle and walk, walk, walk... barefoot. If your are lucky enough to visit on a sunny day, stop there in the evening when the sun is setting; you will not regret this...More

There is a small patch of sand dunes which is actually a glacier lake created by the end of the ice age. When it evaporated the bottom was like a sand dune. Really interesting. Of course I had to walk 30 feet out to see...More

Carcross desert sits on tge outside of Carcross. It is small by comparison but has plenty of interesting floral and fauna. I wish it were more protected as the environment is fragile. Non the less if your passing through stop for a look. Very interesting...More

This is a cute little stopping point for a photo opportunity. It's free, so who can complain! Basically cute little sand dunes with good views. Worth a stop but not a trip especially!

Quick stop in the dessert. Great to see. Not much there but it's defo worth stopping by. Carcross is just right by for a lunch stop. 😊 Enjoy
