Nice walk, pretty easy to get to it, although long for people who are not used to long mountain walks. The laguna itself was not great, but it was possible to have a good view of the Cerro Torre and of the glacier.

This was the first of the day walks we did in El Chalten. It is a great walk, offering good views of Cerro Torre. It is apparently one of the more popular. I would probably rate it 3rd of the three longer walks we did...More

It is beautiful and the trekking level is easy. It took around 6 hours for round trip. It is nice to have a light lunch there.

We loved Laguna Torre more than Mount Fitzroy because it was a relatively easier hike but the views were still stunning.

Maybe the kilometers sound long to some, but the trail itself barely differ from flat. Even if you were unlucky one day and didn't see the Torre due to clouds, it is easy to go back the next, sunnier, day.

Great hike. Get an early start to avoid crowds. The sign for the trail head is on the hill at the edge of town. We had to give directions several time to hikers who were still within the town boundaries.

Even if the weather is not perfect, it's worth the effort! Great views all along the way, not very hard too walk and almost no steep trails.

A 9km hike to Laguna Torre, gotta be in good shape! Incredible views, wildflowers, clean clear running mountain streams.

A challenging climb to get up the last kilometre. Worth it for the view of the mountain and the lago

Alot of things will be closed. Buses from el calafate won't run as often. Accommodation will be cheaper. Weather will be alot colder. The laguna torre trek should still be ok, but the laguna Los tres trek might be tricky... More

Hi, I don't know if you're trained to trekking activities but It's VERY hard because of the weather conditions and most of the shops in town are closed. There are some open hostels but it is not recommended. Anyway, the... More
