Hiked up the side of this crater from the bottom and was a great walk through the different vegetation. Good views back over Hanga Roa on the way. The best part is obviously getting to the top and seeing the amazing views into the crater...More

This is the greatest natural highlight on the island. Take a walk along the rim to Orongo. Spectacular views.

Visited this amazing crater whilst on a half day trip to Orongo. The view is spectacular and well worth the time you spend there.

We hiked up the coastline from Vinapu to get to the crater and wow were the views worth it at the end! Stunning

This is an extinct volcano which last erupted some 1,5 million years ago. It has one of the largest stretches of natural water sitting in the bottom.

Don't drive up there, take a hike from Hanga Roa, it's not that long and the views are amazing! Once you get to the crster be sure to walk all the way to the left where it breaks, the view is breathtaking. My favorite place...More
