Great!

Pea Ridge has a good video and museum. Driving tour shows how well preserved the battlefield is. I've been to a lot of civil war battlefields and this is one of best.

Pea Ridge (aka Elkhorn Tavern) was an important victory for the Union, and this battlefield has been well-cared for. The museum's video and displays explain the battle and its criticality well. The entrance is very nice as replicas of battle detritus have been embedded in and around the path to the door. The driving tour was well laid out with... More

We stopped by on the way home from our Eureka Springs getaway. The battlefield is quite large and the museum is small, but informative. There is a 30 minute video that explains the battle. This, to us, is very much like Gettysburg, on a much smaller level. The do have some neat things on display and if you"re in the... More

Nice video, museum and driving tour. Tavern still standing. Signs give a great picture of what happened.

This was the first of 3 national park sites we would be visiting on our trip and my least favorite of the three! The unusually cold weather in march could have been part of the reason! We browsed through the visitor center exhibits and then took the driving tour through the park. We only got out at the two mountain... More

Not sure what to say other than this is a beautiful place to visit. Lots of info, great "museum". Pretty much like every other military park my boyfriend has chosen to visit. They offer a cellphone tour, that you can dial up for each stop and get info.

Very nice location for such a tragedy in history. Cost $15 per car load to take the tour. 1 person or 10 in car the price is the same. Watched the 30 min. video and then took the driving tour. Had a wonderful time.

Beautiful day to drive through the seven miles of historic markers of the Civil War battlefield and the Trail of Tears. Great place for hikers and bikers to visit and experience history at the same time!

Civil war battleground which is very significant AND great historical references to the Native American history. Trail of Tears and Civil War battle fields intersect here. Free park. Deer and hawks flying around. Only thing is the narrow roads are one way. Awesome park ranger staff.

I was in the area over the weekend and visited Pea Ridge National Military Park. There is a lot of history and some very nice views. The park museum offers background on the park and the Civil War battles fought here. There is video presentation as well. It takes about 30 minutes to drive through the park if you don't... More
