The military park is a great way to spend a little or a lot of time learning about the Battle of Pea Ridge from the Civil War. You can also find wildlife and plants to look at. You can drive, ride a bike, ride a...More

Nice little museum along with film and gift shop. The 7-mile loop around the battlefield is a must. Enjoyed the view from the overlook.

Did not have high hopes when pulling into the parking lot, I was wrong:) Does it have the beautiful monuments, no. Do they have the audio tours, no. Do you see much when at the visitors center other than what seems like an NEVER ending...More

I had never heard of the Pea Ridge Civil War battle until today. What an important piece of American history!!! The video offered at the Visitor's Center educated me about the event that occurred so long ago. Loved the view point of the lead character....More

Located 15 minutes from Rogers, AR, this beautiful National Military Park preserves the history of the Civil War battle which determined Missouri would be a Union state rather than Confederate. I knew nothing of this significant battle site before visiting and was shocked to learn...More

The visitor center and living history presentations are good. The road route through the battlefield sites is a good way to explore the area--for the historic battle and for finding birds. There could be a more detailed presentation of the context of this battle site.

We are not Civil War enthusiasts but decided to take the short drive from Bentonville to see the National Park. The visitors center is small but has a movie that explains the battle, then you drive through the park and stop at various times along...More

We really enjoyed viewing this Military Park. Although we had to skip the video in the welcome center (our yorkie was with us), I hear it's worth the time to sit and watch before your adventure through the Park!

I stopped here on a perfect fall afternoon as I was headed north on I-49 back to KC. It is a short drive off the interstate, but certainly worth it. As with all national parks the staff were very helpful and gave me good advice...More
