Take time to be in the moment and just see what you can. Honestly I try to go everywhere possible when I am away from the USA. I always take advantage of walking about. It's usually free and interesting.

Other thank the fact that you could get robbed or shot at in any minute. The area is really a nice reminiscent of early Caracas... Just keep moving and don't take too many pictures. lol

This is not a place to stay or visit more than just passing by with a car! It is a plaza, could be very nice, but it is dirty and needs maintanance... Should you want to walk, don't do so there as it is NOT safe!! So, just drive by and go elsewhere... Enjoy

Its a cool fountain. Cool to see it while you're driving. Not a safe place to go down and take pictures.

We visited on a tour from a cruise ship. If it is your first vist to Caracas, it is one of the sights you should see. we were taken by coach so no security problems. Traffic horrendous.

Plaza Venezuela is a beautiful square in Caracas, however it's a bit remote and we have to be careful about the assaults. It has a gorgeous fountain, very colorful.

Has a very nice view. Next to Lincoln Suites Hotel. An emblematic place where you can see Colón´s Statue. But you should be aware at night. Althouch it has an interesing design.

This is the shopping heart of Caracas. Unfortunately it is pretty much always crowded but if you are up for some shopping and don't mind, it's definitely worth a visit.

Nice place to visit a walk around, you can see gardens, fountain (at night you can see it with lights) and see El Avila mountain. In this point you are close to UCV and Caracas's downtown.

This is close to the geographical center of the city, but who cares. It has a nice fountain, helped by attractive lighting at night, but there is essentially nothing to do at Plaza Venezuela. There used to be open air cafes where you could have a coffee in the early evening, but now, JUST WATCH OUT. No restaurants to speak... More
