Fairly easy viewing of indri and diademed sifika, chameleons, geckos, spiders in a secondary forest environment. Guided walk where the trackers know where to locate the lemurs. Visitors centre with information about indris. Walk suitable for all ages. Various lengths.

I did a visit here early morning, booked an English-speaking guide and off we went into the park. I had chosen the longest route and it turned out to be very long indeed. Anyway, it was a fine walk where we saw a few lemurs...More

First, please know that there are two parks and they are roughly 17 kms from each other and are quite different, but both are AMAZING! Please try to carve out time so that you can do both parks (and a night safari too)!! I believe...More

This was our last park that we visited and we got to see two families of Indry Indry "fight' over their territory which consisted of beautiful flights in the trees towards the others territory to show their firm intent. If you are short of time,...More

The indry indry is by far my favorite lemur and I highly recommend to visit Andasibe-Mantadia National park if you want to spot it. It is the biggest animal of the different lemur species in Madagascar, has no tale and has a constantly surprised look...More

Yes, those beautiful creatures are worth seeing, yes it is a forest and an outdoor activity. It is occasionally muddy, there are leeches, it is wet, and you will spend a good portion of your time chasing the guide around while s/he points out various...More

Lots of hiking trails and good guides to follow. We stayed in exceptable lodging inside the park. My problem was with the 7 hour torture drive there on terrible roads. We had a great driver but it’s just too long to be cooped up in...More

One of the main reasons we went to Mada was to hear the Indri sing with our own ears. Andasibe is the only place in Mada, and the only place in the world where they live. We were not disappointed. You can hear their song...More

For your visit here be sure to schedule both a night hike and a day hike through the dense forest. The resident animals are both nocturnal species and diurnal species. Guides are required; you may not wander the park alone. There is a small fee...More
