This is definitely an interesting place. It is a good viewpoint and the tiny little church is definitely a point to visit. Unfortunately it is often closed, so you need some luck to see it from inside.

The location of the church on the hilltop is great and gives it dominance over the town. However in trying to take a closer look access is very limited, which makes it much less interesting.

Visit this little church just before sunset when its open for visitors. The light streams through the stained glass windows and there are some interesting little facts and stories inside.

We only saw the outside, but this is a very quaint church in Lüderitz. Climb up the rocks for great views of the church, town and the bay. Amazingly well kept.

Looks nice at sunset and sunrise. Other than that, lacking in information about it and its history. Lovely views of Luderitz, though!

The Felsenkirche is a worthwhile, quick and convenient visit while on a trip to Luderitz. The church is built prominently on top of Diamond hill, visible from anywhere in the town, so finding it is easy. It is only open for an hour a day...More
