We showed up in Maun in the rainy season, when there is lots of flooding and not as much wildlife to be easily spotted. We thought that with discounts we could afford a fly-in tented camp, but they were all out of our price range....More

Remote, tented camp, luxury, perfect layout. Nothing more romantic than riding in the mokoro by the delta between hipos, crocodiles and beautiful flowers, waiting for the elephants to move from our truck to be able to cone to the camp. Fantastic experience

We did a flight over the delta as well and really enjoyed the vast waterways. Saw hundreds of hippos from the air. Stunning area.

We spent two nights here, flying in from Maun. The scenery really is beautiful and like nowhere we've been before. Bird life is very rich. We saw lots of elephants, some hippos and crocs and on a walking safari some giraffes and herd animals.

Yes it is high risk area for Malaria. But it is ok if you cover your body well and apply mosquito repellent. The facilities in Okavango are very good.
