What a fab place, we stayed 4 nights in December and had 2 rooms en-suite which are lovely with a great view, the riding was excellent and the food delicious. The whole place has a lovely feel and I would not hesitate to recommend it. Thanks Elodie and the gang.

haven read all the mostly positive reviews about this place, my friend and my brother visited. It is breathtakingly beautiful. it is intimate. I think the Green Ranch is mostly a home whereby guests and given permission to experience what the owners have on a daily basis. It is a primordial experience of latrines and outside sowers, mineral water, horse... More

The room was very nice and cosy. We really liked the style. For dinner we had some good vegetarian homemade food and there was also an option for dessert. For breakfast was a wide variety from oats to toast etc. It's wonderful to have breakfast on a terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. We also tried horseriding (for... More

I stayed as a solo traveller at The Green Ranch for three days in mid September. This is a very special place, and I feel lucky to have experienced it. Room: For two nights this writer stayed in "the queen room." This room has it's own entrance, porch and outside couch. I watched the horses graze for hours on end... More

Excuse my english...I gave them the 3 stars just because I liked the passion the lady has for the horses and how well she was able to help 7 new visitors on different horses while she ridden on 1...the location is horible and the road is very very bad and adventurous especially when it rains..every taxi driver wants to dry... From the start I sensed that this was a lovely place. Sofus and I paddled there for our first visit and drank some of their clean mineral water from 45 meters deep. Next day we walked there and drank their hibiscus ice tea and talked to Elodie. She invited us to stay at her lounge, so we went there the... More

I'm not a vegetarian, but if I had the Ranch's chef cooking for me, I honestly think I could manage. Also, the room was very clean and spacious. The view of the lake from the Ranch's balcony was awesome. Lake was beautiful to pseudo-kayak on. The horses were also wonderfully kind. Also, clean, wonderfully clear, no-additional-charge (a rarity in Ghana),... More

I would definitely recommend this place. Most probably the nicest view of the whole lake. Excellent food, healthy and with local products. The best thing are the horses. They are very well kept, friendly and perfect for beginners. My experience first time on a horse could not have been better. The owner was riding out with us. She explained me... More

Awesome vegetarian food. Drinkable mineral water from water taps. Beautiful rooms. Friendly service. Breathtaking view to the lake and horses. Does a human need anything more?? We started our journey to the ranch from takoradi by trotro. We hopped of in Bekwai and took another trotro to Kuntanse and from there a taxi which cost 35GH. Thanks to Elodies good... More
