This hidden animal sanctuary has various antelope species that are so tame as to walk around with the visitors the wild cats are caged but quite friendly too. It is a must visit if you are in Kisumu Town.

Good place to relax and interact with nature. Free roaming impalas and giraffes. Cage lions, leopards and other animals. Quiet a number of picnic sites. There is an impressive nature trail. Impressed by the railway section, lots of history of the Kenya- Uganda Railway.

this is actually not a real sanctuary but a zoo like are with a few animals roaming free (zebra's monkeys and Impala's). Friendly staff and a great short get away in Kisumu. Tip: book a boat ride on lake Victoria to spot some hippo's!
