The Cote Sauvage is a lengthy beach, and a great spot to watch the sun set in the west into the South Atlantic ocean. Sizeable homes along the waterfront road including the Pointe Noire residential compound of the President. Restaurants and night life centred here.

The beach is the life saver in Pointe Noire, which is otherwise a small and boring city with limited options of things to do.
The several restaurants along the beach ( expensive though) offer a fine dining experience with fresh catch from the ocean.
