Just a beach, nothing special. On hot days even the ocean water is warm. DON'T go when it's dark, lot of criminals and prostitutes.

The Cote Sauvage is a lengthy beach, and a great spot to watch the sun set in the west into the South Atlantic ocean. Sizeable homes along the waterfront road including the Pointe Noire residential compound of the President. Restaurants and night life centred here.

Not a place to swim with the rip currents if you go too far in. Good place to people watch. Also a place to eat seafood. Avoid the crabs, especially the shelled ones.

The beach is a nice place to go to on the weekends; just to enjoy the sea breeze and to relax from the mundane weekdays. The waves are wonderful, and you can see lots of surfers in the weekend. However, I could not vouch for the beach and its water. There are a number of restaurants by the beach side... More

This is a wonderful place to stay. The beach is great but small on flood-tide and the waves are spectacularly. On Sunday it is "walking" time families enjoying theirselves and young guys doing gymnastics, There is the hotel Twiga with a nice pool overlooking the beach.

The beach is the life saver in Pointe Noire, which is otherwise a small and boring city with limited options of things to do. The several restaurants along the beach ( expensive though) offer a fine dining experience with fresh catch from the ocean. As for the beach itself, they are fun - have a nice local flavor with people... More

Nice beach, huge, good for a walk or a swim. Lots of people on the weekends, there's swimming and even some surfing going on. Several nice hotels along the beach.

I spent a day there with some friends, just for relaxing and swimming. If you're not a hotel guest, you will have to pay 10k CFA (which is 15€) for using the pool. Iasked for a towel and after some negotiations the towel was included in the price. The pool is modern and clean, with showers and cool sunloungers. A... More
