This temple looks great on the outside with interesting architecture, the interior however was not that great.

It is the second highest temple in Bagan after Thatbyinnyu temple. When you are in Bagan, I suggest you to visit this place. Even though interior of temple is the same after you see 3 or 4 temple, the exterior of the building is another story.

The temple was right next to my hotel, so I saw it daytime and night time when it is lit up. Actually a nice foreground for a full moon photo! Unfortunately the platforms are closed, like so many others, but there is a temple right next to it which opens up the upper platform with nice views of Gawdawpalin. It's... More

We were bored and wanted to go for a walk away from the boat for a while and came across this small temple complex which was interesting to wander around and take more photos.

It is difficult to describe what it is like viewing the temples and Pagodas in Bagan. But the whole experience is to be treasured. Enjoy!

I came here with my Best Friend. Rent an e bike to go around the city. It was fun. Try to travel more than before.

Although not large or rated as number 1, this Pagoda is beautiful and indeed highly recommended! The original state of the exterior has not been badly/over restored!

A simpler temple in comparison to many others, but still very much worth the effort to view. Has many wall murals, although many of these have faded very badly. Visitors here will also find some respite from the vigorous commercialism found at many other popular sites.

There are so many temples/pagodas and stupas in Bogon. It can feel a bit overwhelming. But this is one not to miss and Nang Nang and his horse Lucky will take you there is a very comfortable cart. See his picture and a review

By the time we reached this temple the crowds were large and the place was full of people who had climbed to view the sunset and many more who were attempting to climb. We did not venture up though. Best to be there early to avoid the jostling
