Must see places in Myanmar. Make sure to visit Bagan and its countless temples. It was lush green everywhere when we visited. Apparently it is very dry in March and April

Bagan is the most extraordinary place. Wonderful Pagodas dotted around the plains and the light in June is incredible. Well worth getting up at 5am to get a sunrise over the Pagodas and also for sunsets. Some of the Pagodas are now topped with scaffolding...More

Now only 3,000+ temples down from 5,000+ but temples as far as the eye can see, large and small they are everywhere you drive. Glad we hired a guide to tell us the history.

Highly recommend renting bikes to explore the temples for a few hours. My wife and I thought it was an amazing experience to visit some of the smaller lesser know ones and meet some of the locals in the process. Sunrise and sunset at shwesandaw...More

This place is magic with a stunning sunset. Unfortunately I had a bad experience with chinese people who just settle in front of me with big camera so I had to leave and look the next day for an other less crowded other place.

These temples are extraordinary. You can wander for days and barely begin to see all of what's here. These temples are actively being used by locals and you're free to respectfully roam. Beautiful, moving, exceptional.

After the disappointment of not getting to see the pagodas from hot air balloon as there was no wind, the horse and cart ride almost made up for it. We spent a good couple of horse riding around the circuit and seeing some of the...More

Because of Philippines passport holder, you have 14 days visa free to visit Myanmar. September is also good time to visit Bagan neither too hot nor cold. And also you can get cheap price for hotel rooms.
