After visiting some of Pakistans smaller Lakes I found this Lake still beautiful but not as captivating as the others. I don't know if it was due to the weather or just the size of the Lake. It didn't matter as we were going past...More

Satpara Lake is a natural lake near Skardu, with clear blue waters. Fishing and boating are common activities on the lake. There are many places to pull over and have a picnic, or you can eat at the handful of restaurants scattered along the roadside.

Satpara is a beautiful natural lake .. If you are coming from Deosai National Park towards Skardu City, you will come across this lake. Blue water really makes this lake look awesome

so many nice places to see around skardu, this is not the first choice. The lake is nice, but just another lake.

The lake is just outside the Skardu city and is quite overrated - nothing worth making that trip. Perhaps, a short stop on your way from Skardu to Deosai is fine but nothing more than that.
