I was amazed by how different the topography is in this one region! There are many viewpoints & all are well signposted with easy parking. A place to enjoy a half to full day out!

We had a wonderful week of tent camping up at Petit Jean! The campground was clean, shady, and mostly bug-free. The bathhouses were spotless and well-maintained. The staff at the welcome center and boathouse were very helpful and professional. We cannot wait for our next...More

Wonderful place to watch a sunset on the red bluff drive. Peaceful & serene. Grassy area is perfect to have a blanket and sit near the edge listening to the birds sing.

We had lunch in the lodge and it was very good! Salad bar seemed clean, friendly staff. Hiked around a bit, but we were short on time so could not see all that we wanted to. Would visit again!

I'm planning on a day visit. Would love to camp, but am just driving through the area and will need to stretch my legs. How much is parking?

What all is there to do when it is raining or bad weather?

The main bad weather attraction other than simply hanging out at the lodge, would be to tour the antique car museum on the east side of the mountain. Most everything else is an outdoor activity in one form or another. jrs
