We went for 2 days. Had a great time digging in the dirt. Found a lot of Jasper but we thought no Diamonds. Part of our party took some dirt home and found a very small Chocolate Diamond. This is great fun for all ages just wear your old clothes.

It was a fun camping trip. We met friends and had a great weekend, but didn't get rich. Our group didn't find any diamonds, but some were found that day by others. Take plenty of water and snacks. It can get hot. Talk to the other "miners." Its fun to see where they are all from.

Bringing with you things like garden shovels, buckets, sunscreen, hats, waterproof gloves, clothes and waterproof shoes are a must. You will get wet and muddy. There is a spot to spray everything off so waterproof shoes are in order. Snacks and drinks are also a good idea if you are planning on staying awhile. Pick a spot among the many... More

My husband researched this and we came Very prepared and were thrilled that we had Perfect digging conditions - it had recently rained and it was sunny this day... Our family of 4 spent 4 hours digging... More

Stopped here for an afternoon of rock hunting. So exciting to be able to actually hunt for real diamonds. Did not find any but, what fun it was trying. I would be here all the time if I lived closer. Who could resist this hunt?

First time sifting dirt for diamonds. The staff was friendly and explained the process to us. The supplies were a fair price ($45 ($35 refundable deposit) so really $10) for use all day. There is also an entry fee of $8 per adult. You have the ability to search for diamonds in a very large field of dirt. I didn't... More
