Every turn has incredible photo moments of history and colors of stone. Also the engineering of water drainage feats....it helps build the moment when you see The Treasury

This slot canyon is like a long cathedral of stone. Try to walk through at a time when it's quieter like very late day. It is probably the best part of Petra along with a hike up one of the mountains for the views.

Very nice walking, it is long around 1 mile. You can see the water tunnel that they used to use.....

Unbelievable walking thru this beautiful area, in and out of the shadows and imagining what it was like for those many years ago. The notches are still in the wall for the candles and the colors and the etchings are so fascinating.
