Even knowing what you're going to see, expecting it after every bend in the siq as you walk towards the treasury, you can't help but be amazed when it finally comes into view.

Impressive. You will have to walk close to 4 km to get to it, well worth the effort. Try to avoid mid day visit, due to heat.

You can arrange camel rides locally. However I would strongly recommend against it. The sites worth seeing can only be reached by climbing stairs, which the camels can't do, so you'll be seeing the same area you would see by... More
