Very fantastic, can't Imagine how they built that, took us about 6 hours to visit everything and a lot of step to climb but it worth it

Our family of seven spent two days and what a wonderful time. We rode the carts, the donkey's and even took a horseback ride up to the plateau and then walked back down to the treasury. Everyone was very nice.

Bewitching but please don’t be bewitched. Intoxicating and alluring IN EVERY SENSE. Therefore beware of the seemingly charming Bedouins as well. The site itself is certainly worth its fame as a world heritage site. The canyon walk alone is intoxicating. The power and beauty of...More

On our world tour we simply could not miss Petra, a long coach trip from Aqaba through plastic infested desert, our excitement just kept rising and rising. Southern Jordan has to be one of the most distressingly plastic polluted countries in the world – more...More

If you're visiting Jordan and you do not include Petra in your plans, then you will be missing out BIG TIME! Sensational place and worth every single penny. My only comment about the site, is the camels, and especially donkeys, are mistreated. You see lots...More

DON’T TAKE A GUIDE OR DONKEY RIDE! I’m writing this in capital letters because I think the animals are mistreated (get whipped or poked without reason). And regarding the guides: you really don’t need them! The Siq is self-explaining and will lead you through all...More
