About
As seen on the Discovery Science Channel! Take a 1 hour guided tour through one of Arkansas's biggest mysteries! Our cavern is filled with history and mysteries dating back to the Spanish Conquistadors. We have a historic log cabin for a gift/rock shop. You can sluice for gems, minerals and fossils in our gem panning sluice. We do movies in the cavern and offer a Camp in the Cave program for scouting groups.

Great adventure

Great stop with grandkids! Tour guide was so knowledgeable and kept everyone's attention. So apparent he cares for this historical cave and keeping it in the natural state it was meant to be.
Kids loved the bag of rocks they ran thru the slice boxes!

Nice formations, tiny salamanders and bats

Super friendly and knowledgeable owners. The cave has some really nice formations and we got to see a bunch of tiny salamanders and a little bat. Totally worth the visit.

Do not miss this Cave experience.

My friend and I are enjoying several days in NW ARK and decided to stop after I told her about its history I had read online while researching the area. Who doesn't love a good cave on hot Summer day? We happened to pull in a few mins before the next tour started and no one else showed up so we got a Private Tour by Jacob. Such a delightful Young Man, Jacob shared the history of the cabin, the cave, and then we began our tour. Wow, this cave does not disappoint! Go for the cave, stay for the stories. The cave itself is the Treasure of the day. A must see if you are in the area.

Fascinating tour and history

This cave tour was different from most other commercialized tours we’ve done. Our tour was hosted by Paul, one of the owners, who made it feel more personalized and gave a wonderful discussion of both the history as well as their various exploration projects still being conducted. If you enjoy cave tours, this is a must-do for your list!

A must!

I think this was our favorite cave tour by far! The fact they're still exploring the cave made it just so much fun. Our guide was informative and entertaining. We can't wait to go back to see what other area's they've found.
A Must do!

Great tour and guide

I was happy with my tour and guide. For an Ozarks show cave, probably average on the wow factor. If I liked to tour caves and was a visiting the Bentonville area, it is definitely worth a stop.

Great tour

We went on the cave tour today. Hannah was our guide and she did an excellent job. We learned a lot about limestone maze caves and the legend about the old Spanish treasure. The tour lasts about an hour. My grandchildren who are 8 and 10 found it so interesting. They thought the time just flew by as they were so interested in the great presentation. WOULD HIGHLY recommend!

Randomly Awesome...for a Movie!
Sep 2018 • Family
We were searching for something to do on a date night, and all the movies out we had seen or they were just meh. We looked for local concerts, plays, etc. Nothing. Then we stumbled upon the Old Spanish Treasure Cave and they were showing a movie...in the cave. That got out attention. That Saturday's showing was Beetlejuice. Why not!!! We bought tickets online; a whopping $18 for the two of us. Cheap date night it will be!

We got there and pulled in, the owner met us and explained everything; where the bathrooms where, the concession stand, and so forth. SUPER NICE! Met his wife who ran the concession stand, again SUPER NICE. Concessions were cheap as well. The gift shop was a geologists playground! Rocks of all types, again cheap prices. They have T-Shirts and some other goodies as well.

So into the cave we go, they lead us in. Unless you are 4 foot, you will have to bend but it opens up(see photo). We get to the big room where they have a mounted screen and a whole audio/visual set up. From there, you place your own lawn chairs and have a seat. The movie starts and you have a blast. It really was a fun and random night.

Final tip, if you have to go to the bathroom during the movie, make sure you bring one of the guides. The bathrooms are locked(due to them being in the gift shop and everyone is in the cave to take care of you during the movie).

The best praise I can give is we will definitely be back and this time with our 6-year old!

We had a chance to tour the cave today, Hanna , our young guide, did an absolute fantastic job explaining with knowledge and enthusiasm about the history and the present of the cave. If you're in the neighborhood or considering a tour, don't miss out. Well worth it, very informative all around
