Also seems to be known as Karmapa monastery. Silent, peaceful with many monks chanting. Ample parking. Beautiful location, with mountains in the backgound.

Visit to this monastery was altogether a lovely experience starting from the entrance to the main temple site. The back side view is superb. Must Must visit.

I believe accommodation is by donation, it does need to be booked ahead of time. You are welcome to ask the monastery how much is usually given as an offering for accommodation

what is the actual street address in Sidhbari for the Gyuto Monastery (I know the PO address, but I need the street address to have something delivered to the monks. Can anyone help?

hi all....is there any full time job opportunities in monasteries for single woman.and is it safe . i want to serve my rest of life for humanity in some peaceful place like dharamshala.but i am only concerned about safety and the work environment.plz advise with some valid infos.
