Neuburg is a small pleasurable town, and this castle is its main attraction, if you've seen more of the Bavarian castles, you may not be so impressed with it, but you sure can tell about its rich history and heritage, you can also find many interesting small details about it :)

The whole palace is so interesting unfortunately unable to take photos so none available . The salons chapels and all the places are well presented and the information is always there. It was at the time preparing for the bi-ennial festival so there was a lot of activity. We were sorry that we had to leave the day before the... More

The renaissance castle is located in the old town uphill and your first impression is that it might be just a building. It doesn't look like a fairy tale castle, yet it is very impressive, especially if it is appreciated against the other renaissance buildings around it. Neuburg is small town but from the shape of this castle it seem that at that time this areas is very rich. The castle it self is seem want to show how much rich the baron at that times. They have museum shop and cafes but seem not so interesting. the city is never been bombed in 2nd world war... More

The castle is the main and almost unique attraction of the city. The staff is rude, does not speak English or pretends they don´t speak. I asked for a ticket to visit the museum of the castle. The lady who answered me sold a billet for a crafts market and not the museum. The museum was closed and an official... More
