Well Worth a visit

Really gives some idea of what this was as an achievement. A tiny ship with plenty examples of the living conditions that would not be tolerable today.

The Pinta is much smaller than you would imagine & must have been a nightmare to sail in. This replica costs a couple of euros to visit & requires an ability to climb ladders. There were some interesting panels of information on board. Worth a quick look

I can't believe people were that crazy to cross the Atlantic in a ship like this! Wonderful teaching tool.

This looks like a tourist trap, and it is. But so what. This was a very neat thing to climb on and I wish I had young kids to go with me. It doesn't take very long to experience and it is a fun thing to do.

It's promoted as an exact replica of the Pinta Caravel, that made the first trip to America, although that's not exactly the case - the replica's masts are metal, while the original was wood. Nevertheless, it's an interesting experience, and the ticket is not expensive (2€). Probably better as an overall experience if you also visit the museum - you... More

Well worth a visit. For a small fee you can go see the replica of Pinta vessel used to cross the Atlantic at the time of Columbus. You really fell the vessel is small for such a journey. Respect for the Sailors that managed and dared the journey.

This is interesting because some of the historical facts were new to us.and walking around the ship was interesting for the young people. Never thought about the landing of the Pinta back in the "Old World" with news of their discovery as we are more focused on Columbus" arrival in the "New World". Interesting that they have the names of... More

They could take so much more advantage of the fact that the Pinta arrived there when coming back from the Americas. Shame it is not the case. the interior dolls and deco is made with cheap materials and with little love.
