Was in Victoria for the day and was able to get a tour of this craft brewery. Great little place tucked away in an industrial Park. This was part of the West Coast Brewery Tour. Lighthouse was very welcoming, provide a nice little tasting glass gift and tasted a lot of different beers, Company, Keeper's, race rocks, Tasman, shipwreck, numbskull... More

Absolutely LOVED! the Discovery Coffee Lager. Stopped at the brewery on our way home to Calgary and sadly it's not something that they are bottling at this time. Their other beers were quite nice and readily available around the island. We only found the coffee lager at Garrick's Head and we gladly made a point to stop in daily, chat... More

We scheduled on the Web site and went on the the Lighthouse Brewery Tour - Ben & Rebecca were terrific hosts. Very interesting to learn from Ben the Brewing process, hear the Lighthouse history & taste some of Victoria's best beers. We then had Rebecca fill 2 Growlers to take home with Race Rocks Ale and Shipwreck IPA. Highly recommend... More

It's hard to beat Race Rocks as a middle of the road beer, strength-wise,, in the 19L keg for $75. Even the hardcore IPA drinkers, in our family, go for it, Fresh and frothy, it's a favourite around here at Christmas.

For many years, I have chosen local micro breweries' products over the large national brands. My favorite beer here is the Race Rocks Ale.

A small brewery that kicks out sosme great beers, The brewmaster is old school and loves his imported hops and barley. Victoria is now leaning to bigger hop forward beers and Lighthouse may be out in front. Check out Hoyne Brewery next door it is the new kid on the block but the brewmaster is knocking it out of the... More

Had the pleasure of a private guided tour with one of the brewmasters - these guys know their stuff. Race Rocks is a favourite in Victoria: dark and comforting, especially in the winter. And all the brews pay tribute to local landmarks.
