I have mixed feeling about this Park. We visited in mid-August, everything above the water and wetlands was dry a uninviting. Maybe this would be better in the spring and might be a good place to camp then. The parking lot at the end of...More

This is my favorite place to bike ride. It's a round trip of about five miles and has restrooms and numerous drinking fountains. Much of it has been repaved recently so the ride is smooth. Lots of runners and walkers (with and without dogs)

We have always enjoyed our walks through this park. It has really great views. Beware of the dog poop. Many of the dog owners do not pick up after their dogs

I like to walk at the state park. The views are great. The breeze is cool. There are dog watering spots along the way.

Since paving allege potholes in the state park, its become more enjoyable to run, walk, and ride a bike. It can get humid at times, so you'd better do an early morning workout or an evening workout to enjoy the cool breeze during your workouts.

Even on a leash, some dogs are aggressive and will nip or outright bite. I was bitten in Alsea area of Oregon some years back and required stitches. The owner denied that the dog bit me and when confronted with a bleeding... More
