What can I say? I love The Berkeley Marina! It serves many purposes. If you just need to get out for a brisk walk, head on over to Cezar Chavez park and walk around the paved trail. It also provides you with great views of the city. If you have a dog, head to the inner part of Cezar Chavez... More

I visited the marina for the first time when my friend took me there and I really fell in love with the great view of the bay area. One can see the bay bridge and golden gate bridge and downtown sf sandwiched between them. It is a delightfully calm place and I love spending sunny days there having biked to... More

Short walks along the windy shoreline with pretty views across the Bay to San Francisco. A great place for quiet solitude or to fly a kite.

Strolla long the marina, walk the pier, look out across the bay to San Francisco, feel the breeze, daydream, fantasize, and enjoy the enjoyable.

The Cal Sailing club is one of the best deals in the Bay Area. Only about $100 for 3 months, unlimited rentals and lessons, all included in the price. Great views of the bay, adventurous sailing. Can't go wrong.

I love the Berkeley Marina. I lived in San Fran for 20 years and would go to the water locations on the bay down there. But there were always so many people I found it off putting. Since moving to the East Bay I love tho beautiful bay views from the marina and how tranquil it is. So if you'd... More

It's a fun walk and seems like it could take you all the way to San Francisco. You might encounter some odd smells like a combination of sea weed and moldy cheese, but hey it's Berkeley.

There are easy walking paths that circle the marina. On a clear sunny day, the views of the bay and the Golden Gate are fantastic.

Drove and luckily found a spot to park. Best views of the bay in the area, wide walking path, hill to fly a kite and a few benches to sit and enjoy the scenery. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is it!
