This mountainous region above Berkeley has some of the best views of San Francisco imaginable as well as lots of things to do and see including golf, zoo, hiking trails, bicycle trails. Don't miss this wonderful park

A lot of trails for hiking. Especially on the weekends have to be careful of the cyclist on the road. The roads are Narrow and Windee

No camping in Tilden but Lake Chabot regional is about 30 minutes away and has some campsites

there is guard for swimming in Lake. , but I believe after 5 PM you swim at your own risk
