They have great shows in all different genres. Sound is fantastic - well balanced and not too loud which we find at many theaters. Close to a BART station too so convenient

The Freight not only showcases extraordinary musicians from across the globe, it also presents local artists and storytellers - every production is a win and some support great organizations in the area - like the upcoming Best In Show supporting Berkeley Humane on October 19th.

First time to "the Freight." It's a small auditorium (400 seats?), all general admission. Looked like there is not a bad seat in the house. Advice: doors open an hour before the show. Most seats filled for the show I attended, but not all. I...More
