Nice sandy beach. Cool water and nice berkeley families. Feels like old school lake vacation, but pay attention if there are algae blooms. Best in the host fall months (Sep to Nov)

One can spend hours strolling around the lake, looking at the stunning nature or sitting and meditating on the beauty.

On a sunny day this is a great spot to bring family and friends. There is a charge for children and adults. I feel that's good because it would get more crowded if there wasn't a fee. It's a great area for kids to swim...More

This small lake has been part of Tilden Regional Park for at least seventy years. There is a beach where you can spread out your beach blanket and sunbathe and swim. Right now (October) there is an algae bloom, so the lake is closed for...More
