This beautiful Catholic Church has been serving parishioners for over 150 years. Well, along the way, Ansel Adams and Alfred Hitchcock added more to the mix. A not to be missed resident of the beautiful and historic town of Bodega.

On a hilltop just off Highway 12 (also known as Bodega Highway), on a hilltop, it’s impossible to miss the 19th century Saint Teresa of Avila Church which was seen briefly in Alfred Hitchcock's 1963 masterpiece, The Birds. This picturesque church was also the subject...More

Cute little church that was used in the movie the Birds by Alfred Hitchcock. It is 5 miles inland from Bodega Bay in the small town of Bodega.

We came to see the church and the schoolhouse. It was fun to take pics in front of buildings that were in a famous movies. But other than that not much to see in the quiet little town of Bodega.

There is really only one reason to visit and that is because of The Birds movie. Iconic scenes were filmed at the church and it doesn't disappoint. Quick stop for some photos and then head on to more THE BIRDS scenes

We saw the church when we went to the Potter schoolhouse it is just down the hill from it. A little off the beaten path but makes for some good pictures and there is a old post office and fire station there also

That's about it, folks. You will remember this from "The Birds", take your picture there for kicks. Then go somewhere else, because there's nothing else here to see.

I love this little church. It's a Catholic Church built by non-catholic ship builders. It's unusual because it has 2 aisles. Very light and airy inside.
