Stopped here by chance and were able to get a tee-time to play golf. We played 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours. The course is in great shape with nice fairways, the greens are immaculate and the layout is challenging, but not difficult. After golf, stop at their restaurant for something to eat/drink. Prices are reasonable and the food is... More

The Borrego Springs Resort is a renovated older resort with a darling new spa and a fun golf course. We have stayed there for years and always enjoyed ourselves. We even had a big group out there for my husband's big birthday celebration. However, this trip we were really disappointed in the restaurant. There are not too many places to... More

This is the place to go for happy hour on Friday or Saturday or Sunday afternoon between four and seven. The drinks are well priced, and sitting out on the patio looking at the golf course and the mountains is really a spectacular treat. Go for sunset. Can't be beat. Food is OK here too. Golf course is excellent as... More

Our rooms were very generous in size and updated in bathroom and decor. One thing they couldn't upgrade was the noise insulation in the room. I could hear people walking in the room above (ask for an upstairs room?) and people in nearby rooms and walking in the hallway. Surprised that the spa was so small for such a large... More

Great golf course. Challenging holes with fairways and greens in excellent condition. We played as a foursome in 3 hours 30 minutes. However, our wives were in a foursome who got stuck behind a fivesome of extremely slow ladies. They would not let them through and the marshall seemed oblivious. Fivesomes should not be allowed on any golf course. The... More

Two couples went on a golf package, we each booked one night & two days of golf. The room was very nice, breakfast and lunch at the restaurant were both great, and the golf course was in fantastic condition. We played the Mesquite and Desert Willow 9's both days. My only regret was that we waited so long to visit,... More

Our friends kindly booked a lovely condo, which we shared very comfortably. Apart from the new year revellers on the 31st January (!) it was very quiet and well kept. Staff friendly and most helpful. We would love to go back - great for accessing all the sights/sites and the town is very sweet.

Course in great condition - 3 9-hole options for a very reasonable price. Terrific staff. We played this course twice in the week and would return happily.

A group of 40 of us went to this resort last week for a golf outing. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The golf course is a nice course, well maintained and a very nice layout. The rates for both the golf and the hotel were very reasonable. However, the restaurant can only be rated as poor or very... More

Since the spa at Casa del Zorro was closed we came to Borrego Springs to enjoy their spa. The spa manager was wonderful and accommodated all 5 of us for massages, scrub and facials. They brought food and wine to us and we were able to spend the entire afternoon having a spa day.
