The staff at this shop helped us plan an all-day trip through the fields and vineyards surrounding Calistoga. We wanted to go about 15 miles total and stop at a couple of wineries, but they can help plan any distance or list of "must sees." This was truly one of our most memorable days of a long road trip. The... More

After several years of window shopping at this gem of a shop, we had the occasion of renting bikes this time. We have always found the owner and employees happy to indulge endless questions about equipment and, this time, riding routes and suggested stops. We rented a Townie and a Hudson for her and him. The Townie was PERFECT for... More

This stop was for a flat tire. They fixed it right away with no wait. And they did a minimum inspection. Adjust the handle bar at no cost. All suggest a fix for the next tune up. Great service. We have also rented bikes and got good bikes and service.

We rented two road bikes from here while on holiday and were very pleased. The bikes were light and well maintained and couldn't ask for better bikes to have two long rides in the area. The bike shop also has garmin loadable routes of the local area that was perfect for us as we were not familiar with the area.... More

Brad was easy to work with and delivered bikes, helmets, bike bags and locks directly to the tasting room. We chose the self guided tour of scenic St. Helena along with a wine and food pairing at Velo Vino. The ride was picturesque and a nice refreshing way to tour the area. The wine and food pairing was enjoyable. Overall... More

Brad and his staff made sure we had a wonderful experience with our day long road bike rentals. They had asked for measurements before we arrived so when we showed up everything was ready to go! They had pointed out a good route for us to take which was beautiful (except for that one really big hill) and quiet. Riding... More

My friends and I decided to bike the 22 mile round trip from Calistoga to St Helena via the Silverado Trail (after taking a break at the Sogni Di Dolci). Even though we were regarded with some scepticism as one of the party decided they wanted to look stylish doing it and opted for the 8 gear townie and we... More

I shopped around many bike stores this Fall looking for my first performance bike. Wasn't sure whether to go with a road bike or a mountain bike. Brad and his staff were very helpful in suggesting what bike to consider, and offered a big discount for a Cannonade Quick2 bike used in the 2016 rental fleet. I followed up on... More

Absolutely superb - the staff were really helpful and the whole day was great value for money. The route is incredibly easy to follow and you don't need to be an experienced biker to do it (actually the vineyards could almost do with being further away). We picked up our bikes at 10 and were at the first of four... More

My sister and I booked the Cool Wine Tour when we were in Calistoga over Labor Day weekend. The bike shop provided the bikes, helmets, locks, maps, and tasting fees for five wineries. The wineries included a mostly off the beaten track, which is great for biking, and were excellent wineries! I think my favorite was Tedeschi Winery, and I... More
