Kyichu Lhakang is situated a bit out of town but a MUST visit, especially if you are interested in Buddhism. A bit up the hill is one of Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche's Residenceand Memorial House.

Whilst this is the oldest temple in Bhutan that is steeped in history. At the end of a trip when you have seen so many amazing temples, I just felt that whilst pleasant this one was not as amazing as some of the others

Very close drive from paro... its a remarkable Temple with lots of history & being one of the oldest one in Bhutan. A holy place for the followers...I liked the big tree in the entrance....the sound it makes with the wind....so relaxing...and calm...
