A pretty domed church & garden area, where Jesus is said to have delivered his sermon on the mount. Lovely views over the Sea of Galilee, with a nice souvenir shop & refreshment stand. You can easily visit alongside Capernaum while you're in the area.

A stop at the Mt of Beatitudes and the church is definitely a must stop while in Israel. So much history in and around this area. Blessed are the peacemakers... So cool to be here

This place is conducive to moments of solitude in prayer. Silence is strictly observe and modest attire is advised.
