Walk these trails with someone or with your dog. Never walk them alone! Some of the walk is flat and in other areas there are some grades. Overall it is a good place to get some exercise and smell the freshness of the eucalyptus trees.

This "forest" is a nice area that you just don't find very often these days. It has a parking area, it's across from a lagoon with ducks, there are picnic tables and walking trails that are for the most part, easy. It's a great little...More

Beautiful wooded area, by the Buena Vista lagoon, in Carlsbad. It's near the ocean, which keeps the air cool and comfortable. When walking the trails, I pretend the mall is not down the hill, and the noise I hear doesn't come from the I-5. It...More

Hilly area started in 1905 as an eucalyptus grove. Has 2 sections with 3 miles of trails, picnic tables, playground and porta potties. Three parking lots. No cost to use.

This really isn't a forest but definitely a grove of Eucalyptus trees. Trails are well maintained for those who enjoy walking, hiking or jogging. Many people bring their dogs, like myself, but if you do, please remember to clean up so everyone can continue to...More

I love this place for walking alone, with friends or with my dog. The eucalyptus trees shade the trails so you can even get a nice respite from hot weather. There's actually 2 sides to this Grove--one on the northwest and one on the eastern...More

Hosp Grove Trails provides a convenient place to do short (or longer is you wish) exercise walks. There is a playground by the parking lot for people with little ones. The trails are well-maintained. Dusty and not very scenic (compared to other places in California).

Smallish park with easy hiking trails. We've been taking our kids here since they were small. The teens like to hike on their own while the littles play on the playground.
