Beautiful unspoiled beach. Laid back, easygoing atmosphere, like California used to be in the 60s. Cute downtown too with some great restaurants

Carpinteria beach is one of the hidden Southern California Gems! Walking on the beach at sunset is a must! Close proximity to downtown Carpinteria

We've walked on this beach quite a few times but this time we would not walk on the sand. It is covered with mud and debris from the horrific mudslide. We pray it will return to it's original state in the near future.

Carp state beach is generally always worth a visit. It is an easy beach to walk on, as it's pretty flat with hard packed sand. When we are visiting, we walk down to the beach every evening to view the sunset, which is a very...More

I’m very lucky I can actually walk to the beach from my home. Carpinteria is a small beachside town next to Santa Barbara and was a wonderful place to raise our kids who spent many summer days swimming and playing at this beach.

This is a beautiful beach that has volleyballs nets, bathrooms nearby, boardwalk paths to explore and even a nearby kids park. It is a short walk to the meat of the restaurants and shops just up the road. I'd love to stay here for a...More

This is a great beach all year round. In the summertime the tides go out so far, and great tide pools for the kids to play in. The surf is always mild, which is great for beginners and young ones to get their feet wet.

Off the beaten path, cliff side picnic amenities and beautiful sunsets. Just off the little hamlet of Summerland with great eateries and interesting antique shopping.

I been rised in carp since birth have noticed that the chamber of commerce only focus on how to bring in business not on how to maintain carp the best kept secret so I try alone for two year as I do my spiritual vow

Love this beach. Lot of things to see. Watch out for the tar, there's plenty of it on the southern side. It really challenging to get rid of it from your soles or shoes.

There are no hotels on the beach-just condo rentals. I don't know which spa you are talking about. Sorry.
