For many years Casper has been a great place for dancing and listening to great music. The owner does a great job of keeping this place alive despite what ever Mr. "world traveler/ norcal 101" commented. Obviously the same person who is completely mislabeling "the local patrons" and "musicians".

A small, intimate venue in a quiet sleepy town that gets great acts from all over! This place has a long history of musical greats, so stop by and see what is unfolding one weekend.

This place is a joke. The "bands" are local wanna-be's that perform in senior centers on alternate weekends and patrons are coke-heads and cranksters that come in for a fix. This is not a dance bar but a dive bar. The owner is rude and obnoxious. The music is abominable and atmosphere even worse. Don't waste your time and money.

The "bands" are old cronies who should be (and I'm told are) performing in old age homes in Ukiah and other talentless nobodies. Patrons come here for crank and coke, not dancing. The owner is rude and obnoxious. It is unfathomable that people actually come here for dancing since the music is atrocious and the atmosphere worse.

This place is FOUL! The owner is detested by locals and he only runs the place as a venue for selling drugs. The bands stink and patrons are pranksters and low lives. DON'T GO HERE FOR ANY PURPOSE WHATSOEVER. If you want to dance, there is usually something at the Caspar Community Center or somewhere in Mendocino, where the people... More

The only thing that can replace the Caspar Inn, is the CASPAR INN! Now open Thursday thru Sunday. Saw a great local band there last weekend called Soul Shakedown. This intimate venue puts you face to face with the musicians. The crowd was friendly. A great selection of spirits put together by a master sommelier. Find their music line-up here:... More

This venue is closed, most likely for the duration. Years and years of fabulous music, dancing and drinking have come and gone. If you've never had the pleasure of coming here, I am sorry for you. It was a special place that cannot be replaced.

Been to the Caspar Inn many times for world class music acts. It is a true traditional roadhouse, with a bar and music venue downstairs and rooms to rent upstairs. What surprised me was the great food! I'm a vegetarian and I really had a good meal there while listening to a great band! 'Nuff said!

We went to listen to a band on Friday night. The locals were friendly enough, however we were the only ones charged the cover to get in. Not cool! Won't be going back there again.

I have never been let down when I have chosen Caspar Inn for entertainment. Small venue with live bands, great bartenders, and now they've added food that is way better than your average pup fare. NYE was fantastic this year as it was last year. Big fun party with locals as well as visitors from out of town who came... More
