Whenever we are close enough to stop by this cookie place we make a point to do so. The brown butter cookies are awesome! Although they do seem pricey, you can get a 3 pack for $3.50 or a dozen of original for $13, flavored are $15. At least pop in and get your free sample but I warn you,... More

This women run company got on the board by being one of "Oprah's Favorites". This one little cookie has become a phenomenon. Walk in to a lovely restored old front street building to be greeted by a big smile, and offers to sample the variety of flavors. Then try to restrain yourself from buying a dozen. We visit Cayucos twice... More

The cookies at Brown Butter Cookie Company are melt in your mouth good!! I was a little hesitant in purchasing a bag as they were already packaged. I was told they were good for 30 days. I'm sure they are good for 30 days but the ones I brought home definitely were not as melt in your mouth fresh as... More

Cookies were okay. The originals were pretty good but the Oatmeal Raisin seemed underdone and the lemon was barely detectable in the lemon cookies which taste more like sugar cookies.

Came here on a recommendation from a friend while driving through. The staff were super nice and offered samples. Only problem was, even though I tried a few flavors, the flavors were nice, but the cookies are dry and crumbly. I like soft moist cookies. Maybe that's how they're supposed to be, and people like that and know what to... More

After visiting the Cayucos pier, we walked the Cayucos main street and after passing the Saloon noticed this beautiful house with cookies ad in front of it. We payed a visit and were welcomed by very polite and kind stuff. She offered us to taste different samples, all melted in mouth. Behind the counter she was standing we could see... More

My husband and I went to Cayucos to look at the antique stores. We stopped in at Brown Butter Cookie Company and were immediately greeted by friendly employees. We were able to try a sample of their delicious cookies and left with a bag full of goodies!

We were surprised to find a specialty cookie store in this cute little beach town. They sell large traditional cookies. My husband got a chocolate chunk and liked it very much. I tried samples of their original, almond and expresso butter sea salt cookies. They are little shortbread style. Check this place out!

This company specializes in wonderful, buttery shortbread cookies, made with real brown butter. There are many flavors, and they will let you have a sample or two. I think my favorites are original and almond.
