OK so if you don't like heights, this is really not the place to go as the drive up to the summit takes you to the edge of some some pretty steep drops with no barriers. Takes about 25 minutes to drive (carefully)from bottom to...More

This was an incredible place to visit. The views from the summit are fantastic; reading about the summit in the building is also well worth the time. Now to get to the summit....the drive is...well, challenging! I have a fear of heights, and I'm still...More

Nothing devilish here. Just a nice spot to hike and picnic. The top of the peak has some great views.

Hiked up already couple of times over the last month and it's a great work out in nature (not in hot summer month). Always watch your step. On one occasion I was just 2 steps away of a rattlesnake and luckily I stopped in time...More

The park has great trails and the road to the top is very good for bicyclists. Bring lots of water during the summer. The views from different locations are incredible

I live nearby and I get to see the mountain everyday - it’s one of the special things I like about living here. The best time to visit is spring when the grass is green but it is beautiful all year round. Be aware that...More

Great walks. Choose your challenge. Access to the summit if you are up for it. Many bird species to observe. Watch out for local snakes. North entrance is bike & horse friendly also. Shaded picnic area by the creek. $6 parking daily fee.

We just climbed the big stone boulders which i'm sure she would be able to do. We saw other kids her age doing them. Hope that helps.

I did go to the website and decided to try here for an answer. Since then spent one night at Juniper site no area to jump in water or fish but a very nice campground and not far to the peak. I will return for more.
