I have couple books from there and also have swapped others. The last time that I went to check for My Struggle Book 2 by Karl Ove Kanuasgaard they did know about him. I still have some credit for my last exchange. Stop by the Reader Club or take your kids to the Goose Mother Reading time.

If you're an avid reader, here's the place for you in Old Town Clovis. Mostly used (but some new) books of every kind. Nice collection of Central California historical books, kid's books, audio books (for that car trip coming up) and even some DVDs. Plan to spend a while and if you're looking for a paperback. There's a zillion there.... More

I'm glad I get to submit another review of A Book Barn - I can't stay away from this place. I don't have enough room for MORE BOOKS, but I always get one or two when I'm there. I collect Little Golden Books, and there are usually one or two that I don't have already. And sometimes, when I have... More

When I travel to a new place I always check them out to see if there are travel books for those places. This saves me a lot of money I can use on that vacation.

I love to read Cookbooks and give Cookbooks to my friends and family as gifts. The Book Barn always has a great selection new and used cookbooks at reasonable prices. Often I will purchase a cookbook and purchase other gift items related to the type of Cookbook as a gift. I have purchased way too many Cookbooks at The Book... More

This is the place we have our summer book clubs. We meet upstairs once a week for about 2 hours. This will last for approximately 8-10 weeks depending on the book that we pick for the summer study. The people at the Book Barn will setup some tables and chairs in the back part of the upper area just for... More

Went to the book barn for a book signing and had time to look around. The contents of the store are very interesting and varied. This will now be the first place I would look for a used book. They also did a great job on the book signing.

We use to trade books all the time but the last time I took new books in to trade they would only take their books back for trade at half price and they had a list of new books they would take. I had Clive Cusslers to trade and they would not accept them like they had in the past.... More
