Cobb is still a cool place even after a major fire "The Valley Fire"

It was tolerable before it got flame broiled, but now that many of the trees are gone and people have replaced their former homes with crud, it's a big bummer.

I am shocked that I am the first reviewer of Cobb Wines. It is tucked in a mountain not far from the Pacific Ocean and near the quaint town of Occidental Ca. Occidental is one long block with a historic hotel, a few interesting shops and a number of restaurants. It could have looked the same maybe 30 years ago.... More

My family just returned from a two night camping trip at the Jellystone camp ground at Cobb Mountain. This camp ground has received so many bad reviews, I wanted to share my own to give another point of view. We camped in August, 2014. During this time, the pool was up and running. Yes, this camp ground features a pool,... More

Enjoy a beautiful drive through heavily forested areas and sit outside with a latte at the cafe/bookstore. Inquire about local hiking and mountain biking areas closeby.

Was great resort destination in the 40's, my parents loved itright after WWII. Unfortunately nothing much has changed since then. Has beautiful scenery, a couple of nice golf courses, and a couple of good restaurants. They geysers have helped to keep the area going somewhat.

If you plan to go to this RV campground, we recommend that you DON'T stay in the $200. a night A-frame cabin. The whole place was filthy--the carpets had gross stains in every room and looked like they'd never been cleaned; the bathtub had not been cleaned and when we turned on the water it was ORANGE (rusty). If you... More

Cobb Mountain is in Lake County, California, about a half hour from Clearlake. The area is so beautiful and relaxing. Deer roan the area with confidence. Retreat to the tranquillity of Cobb. A vacation of a lifetime at Beaver Creek RV Park & Campground.
