While on vacation from Oregon we wanted to eat fish and chips, so we drove to the Wind & Sea Restaurant at the Dana Point Harbor. What a beautiful, well designed setting, taking advantage of the ocean, harbor, and natural vegetation. Easy parking, natural landscaping, easy walking to enjoy the shops, eateries, and water craft, all on a large park... More

I was staying at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott which is about a 10 minute walk away. I was staying in December and was amazed at the holiday light displays which are great photo opportunities. I am from the northeast where it snows, so I had to laugh at the Southern California snow effect in the trees with the lighting which... More

Dana Point Harbor offers so many things to do, so many places to eat or drink, freeway close to the 5. Whether you are sport fishing, whale watching, going to the beach, vacationing or hiking you won't be disappointed. DPH also is the site of the annual Turkey Trot and hosts several thousand runners going around the Harbor. One of... More

Very meticulous landscape with great pottery filled with succulents that make for a visual feast. Parking was easy this time of the year. I came early for a... More

To be fair, it was raining when we visited the harbor so we may have liked it better on a sunny day. We did see a sea lion which made us like it more!
