Hello, I am a Schnoodle from Seattle. I love this off leash dog beach. We can all have the romp of or dreams here. Most dogs of all sizes are well mannered. Myself, I am 8 lbs and the big dogs are respectful of my space concerns. Yu will want to call the San Diego surf report to be sure... More

If you hae a dog they will have a blast being off leash, chasing birds, balls or the waves. This beautiful beach is perfect for a walk at low tide just be sure to be a good dog parent and clean up after your pooch!

This is a great beach for all dogs to enjoy, located at the north end of Del Mar, right next to Solana Beach. You will have to pay for parking on the busy coast highway, so make sure your dog is on a leash! Check the rules before you go because your dog might have to be on a leash... More

We walk the beach from Solana Beach to Jakes as often as possible passing dog beach once each way. We have been there on a cold and windy day when there have only been two or three dogs. We have also been there on a warm summer day when it seems like two hundred dogs are romping around the beach... More

Even if you don't have a dog you must visit dog beach, it makes you feel young again to see so many dogs having so much fun! Their enthusiasm and playfulness is infectious and even their owners are really friendly and love it when you compliment their dogs and ask about their breeds. They will be happy to tell you... This is one of the best places to take your dog, and at the same time enjoy some time at a beautiful beach. In the summertime you need to keep the dogs on a leash, but after Labor Day and before Memorial Day it is leash free! There is nothing like seeing all these beautiful doggies playing in the waves,... Great place to take your dog for a run on the beach and swim. People who visit and locals are very nice and respectful with each others dogs. Nice clean beach.
