Beautiful course, links style, unfortunately was VERY windy when we played but enjoyed the challenge. Surprised this course didn't have better amenities - not great quality practice area or carts, the pro shop was minimal. We enjoyed it but would spend our greens fees elsewhere next time.

This is one of the few reasonable golf courses in the Valley, and there are reasons for that. 1. There are few amenities at the Site, restrooms, pro shop and carts are below expectations for this part of the Country but not poor. 2. The cart paths are limited, and make the request for 90 degree parking from your ball... More

Played this course 20 years ago when had a real buzz. Now it's a dull and run down location. The course itself is in fine condition, but the overall feel is a golf club with problems. No one to meet us at the bag drop, a Luke warm greeting at the pro shop, and limited interaction with club staff.

I am not a golfer but my son and friends are avid golfers. Every time they visit, they are sure to play a few rounds at this local golf course and enjoy the experience. The greens are always in great shape and a bit challenging they say.

I have played Desert Dunes four times and enjoyed it each time although the course is a bit long for an old guy like me. The greens have each time been in excellent shape and the course has its challenges. It was extremely windy the last time we played the course which resulted in some new experiences - drives that... Went with friends and was excited to learn we were playing this course. Was in great shape and truly liked the golf course. Challenging and fun. Was disappointed with lack of drinking water and ability to purchase drinks. Coolers were empty and never saw a drink cart -- it was a hot day.

Overall all, this is a fairly nice course and we found it to be in good shape. I liked that there were very few houses along the course, and the course is in fairly good shape (fairways and greens). Attendance was fairly light, so the speed of play was good. The course is somewhat tight, and there were definitely places... More

2 couples. We golfed at 12:45. The driving range was fine, reception was fine, the starter was very friendly and helpful. It was a very hot day, so we inquired prior to teeing off, whether a refreshment cart would be circulating (no outside drinks allowed on the course), and were assured it would be around. We purchased drinks after the... More

Conditions were good with the exception of one green (#11). Great challenging layout. No houses on the course. A little long for the average woman golfer. Check out Standby Golf for a deal. Originally found tee times there for $39 and waited too long and paid $59. Play on the front was a little slow. We didn't stop at the... More

The Roughs have not been mowed. Lost every ball hit into the roughs. Wind is a major factor. Based on price, there are many better deals on golfing in the area.
