When it or passing through Encinitas you have to stop and experience this place. Take a few shots, walk down and shoot some video of the surfer's at Swami's Point and you'll be able to say you did Encinitas.

Absolutely stunning gardens with incredible views. Koi ponds, cool old trees, and beautiful flowers. You can sit on the plentiful benches and gaze at the ocean. We watched a bunch of surfers and even saw dolphins. Plus, it’s free! What more could you ask for?...More

There is no charge to visit the gardens. As for the best time of year, I have been there in October as well as January and February. Each time I have visited, there have been flowers in bloom. Much care goes into maintaining... More
