With a mission of bringing people together to discover, create and celebrate both the visual and performing arts, the California Center for the Arts, Escondido is the cultural center of North San Diego County. The Center's unique campus includes a 1,500-seat concert hall, a 400-seat theater, a contemporary art museum, art and dance studios, and a full-service conference center with meeting and banquet facilities ready to host corporate gatherings, weddings and other special life events. The Center also runs an extensive education program and produces free community events, such as the Jazz Jam Sessions, 4th of July celebration, Day of the Dead Festival, Holiday Tree Lighting and WOW First Wednesdays performances.

I have gone to the free entertainment and they are all wonderful. I plan to return and they have lots to offer. I like the free parking.

I was here for a Buddy Guy concert in March of 2018. I was impressed with the acoustics, and the sight lines (even from the cheaper seats was good. The building itself is beautiful and easy to get around in.

Loads of free parking just a very short distance away. The facility was well lite (it was evening) and very clean. There were adequate clean restrooms. The building is handicap friendly it seems. There was a bar at the entry right after the ticket window....More

We also saw Lyle here the other night. A nice venue with fair prices (what a relief) Good sound system, too. I think you need to be familiar with the layout to get the right seats
